A message from Doyon Utilities President and CEO Lou Florence

Doyon Utilities is committed to providing our military communities safe and reliable water service during this period of National emergency. Providing essential, safe and reliable utility services in good times and in crisis, enables our military to address its primary core mission to defend our nation.

We are complying with the COVID-19 guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Defense and Alaska’s Department of Health and Social Services. The health and safety of our military communities and employees is our top priority.

To ensure that we maintain utility services, we initiated our pandemic business continuity plan. This plan addresses staffing, personal hygiene, disinfecting guidelines and materials needs to continue to operate in a safe and healthy manner. We practice social distancing, eliminated face-to-face meetings and many employees are working remotely. As we learn more about COVID-19, Doyon Utilities will continue to adjust how we work in order to minimize the risk of exposure while serving our communities.

In order to support our military and our employees, we will continue to evaluate and monitor the situation and the latest developments to determine how we can adopt and amend measures.

Doyon Utilities is prepared during this pandemic to continue to provide the critical utility services to our military to support their missions, while focusing on the health of our employees.
