Fort Greely (Delta Junction)

The CHPP is an oil fired plant. The electrical distribution system is significantly constrained because of an undersized intertie with Golden Valley Electrical Association (GVEA). The potable water distribution system is connected to a small water treatment plant. Wells serve as the source water and there is adequate water to serve the Fort Greely community. The wastewater collection system is connected to a small lagoon treatment facility. Much of the heat, wastewater and water distribution systems are inside utilidors.
